About Me

My photo
Karen Hayes
I had been writing devotionals for about 10 years and sharing them with an ever-growing group by email. I finally decided it was time to start a blog. I am ELCA Lutheran with a strong lean toward progressive/liberal spiritual ideas. As of this update (July, 2017) I have been married to my husband, Richard, for 36 years. Richard is retired from the military and enjoying spending time at home and with family. We have two grown and married boys and two beautiful daughters-in-law. The greatest joy in our lives (and an endless resource for devotional material) are our beautiful granddaughters, Cecelia (8) and Emma (4) and our adorable grandson, Evan (almost 3).
